Leonard F. Abraham, age 76, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Leonard is survived by his wife, Nancy (Seberger); children: Christine (Steven) Kerr, Elizabeth (Steve) Schneider, and Rae Ann (Kevin) Hunt; eight grandchildren: Amy, Allison Kerr, Andrew, Nathan Schneider, and Daniel, Samantha, Johnathan, Charlotte Hunt; sisters: Mary Ann Abraham, Judith Abraham, Kathy (James) Kosik; sister-in-law, Carol (late Donald) Abraham. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Rita; brother, Donald; and sister, Barbara (William) Reed. Leonard was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where he was an usher for over 50 years, and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, CT. 293. He was retired from Wilco Foods as a meat cutter with over 30 years of service. Leonard was an avid Cubs and Blackhawks fan. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and puzzles. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at GEISEN FUNERAL, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307. Funeral Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 9:45 AM at GEISEN FUNERAL, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE, CROWN POINT, IN followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN 46307, with Fr. Patrick Kalich officiating. Internment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
