Bob Edward Huff, 73, of Abilene, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at The Hamil Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Burial will follow at the Hamby Cemetery.

Bob was born in Abilene, Texas to Cliff and Ima Lou Huff.

He married Sandra (Hargrove) on October 17th, 1970.

Bob worked for Atlas Machine and Welding for 53 years.

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy Seabees where he was exposed to Agent Orange, that later would begin his battle with cancer.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ima Lou, and his brothers, Tommy and Dickey.

Bob is survived by his wife Sandra; daughter, Leslie and her husband Corey Autrey of Weatherford, daughter, Melanie and her husband Reese Martin; sister, Sue Kirkman; brother, Johnny Huff; and his grandchildren, Daylon Moore, Dillon Moore and Lane Autrey.

Pallbearers will be: Ricky Urich, Steve Urich, Anthony McColum, Rocky Gilmore, Bobby Moore and Cutter Moore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas 75219.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. H. Kalla, Jimmy DeFoor, Dr. Passmann, nurses and all the staff at the Kent County Nursing Home.
