Buster Franklin Ford of Wilburton, Oklahoma died October 19, 2017 at his home at the age of 89. Buster was born October 11, 1928 in Ogden, Arkansas to Joseph and Nolie (Smith) Ford. He joined the U.S. Army. Buster received his Master's degree from the University of Arkansas. He worked at the OSU Extension office until he retired at the age of 55. During retirement, Buster enjoyed fishing and golfing. Buster was an avid Razorbacks Fan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilburton. Buster was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jerri Mitchell Ford in 2015; parents, Joseph and Nolie Ford; brothers, Perry, J.D., Mack and Paul Ford and sister, Nellie Ford. A Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Damon Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Brady officiating. Interment will follow.
