Laura is the daughter of John M Kagy and Mary P Beckwith. She is a sister to Ethel and Volney Kagy. Their parents would divorce.
Laura married Elmer E Esselstyne and they are the parents of Faie Esselstyne Lowe. Laura and Elmer divorced and she moved to Maricopa, AZ with her daughter and son-in-law. Elmer remarried in 1916 and would die in 1932.
Laura eventually returned to Montana. She came to the hospital from Gallatin County, Laura was in care here 1 mo 10 days. Her death was attributed to senile dementia.
