Julia "Judy" (Ball) Millis
January 16, 1938 ~ March 9, 2017 (age 79) Julia “Judy” Ball Millis, 79, of Palatka, Florida departed this life on March 9, 2017.

Judy was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky on January 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Harry Addison Ball, Sr. and Nola Wright Ball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Rick Gilliam and one sister, Pauline Ball Sullivan.

Judy grew up on a farm in Fleming County and moved to Florida some years later. She loved people, loved her antiques, loved to tell of her life and things she had done and talked often of her love of her parents and family. Judy was an active member of the Southside Baptist Church and was the joy of her Sunday School classes.

Survivors include two grandsons, Brent (Amy) Gilliam and Brian Gilliam, one daughter-in-law, Sharon Gilliam, four brothers, Harry Ball, Jr., Johnnie Ball, Anthony Ball and Marcus Ball and five great-grandchildren, Alisa Gilliam, Kara Gilliam, Katie Styles, Sydney Gilliam and Jacob Gilliam.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the chapel of the Elizaville Cemetery with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
