He attended Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City and loved playing gospel music with his wife, Shirley for many years. They played at funerals, church’s, hospitals, nursing homes and anywhere they could meet and play with other musicians. Tim, was a hard worker, working in the auto body work industry for many years, he also worked many years in the construction industry and for Burlington Industries in Monticello. He was also an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Also preceding him in death was his wife of 54 years Shirley Jean Phillips Burns, and Eleven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his son, Millard Eugene Burns (Stevie) of Gause, Texas, one brother, Billy Burns and sister, Beatrice McCool both of Star City, Six Grandchildren, Bambi, Whitney, Haley, Luke, Samantha, Champ and Five Great Grandchildren. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
