VERNAL, UT- Jo Ann Herzet Allen, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her son's home in La Verkin, Utah, October 19, 2017 at the age of 91.

She was born March 30, 1926 in Lubbock, Texas to Pete and Myrtle Miller Herzet. She married Bennie Pinegar, August 5, 1948 and later divorced.

She spent time working for Sorenson Industries, a medical company, and later as a housekeeper in the local motels.

Jo Ann loved spending time with her family. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and was very proud of all that her family has done.

Survived by her son, Harvey (Marilyn) Pinegar; sister, Mary Lou (Evan) Price; granddaughters, Barbara (Jimmy) McCourt, Maile (Brendan) Stackpole, Leslie (Sean) Hoyt; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; her 2 loving dogs, Teaser and Maybell.

Preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant sons; sister, Violet and brother, Junior.

Graveside service, Monday, October 23, 2017, 1:00 p.m., Wellington City Cemetery, Wellington, Utah. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, Utah from 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Monday.
