Rev. Atkinson Dies, Services Friday
Funeral services will be held from the Girst Methodist church Friday at 2 p.m. or the Rev. J. L. Atkinson, resident of the Clark community, who died early Wednesday morning at his home.
A retired Methodist minister, he had served as pastor of the Monthalia Methodist and the Floyd's Chapel Methodist church prior to retirement.
Burial will take place in the Floyd's Chapel cemetery under the direction of Seydler Funeral Home.
