Bertha was the daughter of Michael Hollenbeck and Celia Bump. She married Walter Wright on Sept 17, 1902. They were the parents of 5 children: Walter, Roy, Cecelia, Kenneth, and Homer. No stone was found on this lot.

LeMars Globe Post - Monday, May 17, 1943 - Mrs. Walter Wright of LeMars passed away Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Zimmerman home after a long sickness.

Bertha Beatrice Hollenbeck was born in Wood county, Wis., on January 2, 1874. When but a small child she traveled with her family in a covered wagon from Grand Rapids, Wis., to Fayetteville, Ark., where her mother died.

Following her mother's death the father moved north with the family to Sergeant Bluff, Ia. There the children grew up and finished their schooling. On September 17, 1902, deceased was married to Walter F. Wright. To this union five children were born. During her life-time she was a member of the Morningside Presbyterian church.

After leading an extremely active life, Mrs. Wright became an invalid, and while not a sufferer from sickness, she has been an
invalid for 15 years. She had spent the last year of her life at the Zimmerman home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday in the Mauer funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment will be made in the Graceland cemetery in Sioux City.

Survivors are the widower and four children: Mrs. Celia Ferner of Sioux City; Roy F. of Remsen; Kenneth R. of Fall River Mills, Calif., Corporal Homer S. of San Diego, Calif., also a niece, Mrs. E.S. Wilkerson, of Brooklyn, N.Y., whom she raised as one of her own family, and a brother, of Portland, Ore., and three granddaughters.
