Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Tiedjens, 74, of New Holstein were held at Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home in that city. The Rev. John R. Seidler, pastor of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church officiated. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial cemetery, Milwaukee.

Mrs. Tiedjens passed away early Sunday morning at her home following an illness of two weeks.

Mrs. Tiedjens, nee Lillie Muenster, was born April 22, 1877, in New Holstein, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Muenster. She was married to Mr. Tiedjens at New Holstein Feb. 12, 1902.

She was a member of the Civic club, the Order of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, the New Holstein Cemetery Ladies’ Aid society and the Woman’s Build of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Roland, of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Seidel and Mrs. Ray Troeger, Milwaukee; five grandchildren; a brother, Herman, of New Holstein and a sister, Mrs. Rola Harneck, Milwaukee.
