Mrs. Annie Mertzweiler, nee Ritzmeyer, died at her home at 608 North Chestnut Street this morning at 6 o'clock.
She was born in Trenton, Ill., in March 1879 and was married to August Mertzweiler in Bellleville Feb. 28th, 1902. She is survived by her husband, and three children, Antony, Anita and Edward. She also leaves her parents, three brothers, Valentine who is in France; Oscar at Camp Custer; Clarence at Trenton; and two sisters, Mrs. Leona Junck of this city and Miss Bertha Ritzmeyer of Trenton.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
