Services for Bertha J. Mathison, 77, 2134 N. E. 11th avenue, will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday from the Colonial mortuary. Burial will be in Rose City cemetery. Mrs. Mathison died Sunday.

She was born August 9, 1877, in Spring Grove, Minn. She was a member of the Women’s Benefit association, Pioneer club, Royal Neighbors of America, Past Oracle club, Rebekah lodge, Camelia chapter No. 27, OES, and the First Presbyterian church for the last 55 years. She has been a resident of the Masonic home, Forest Grove, since January.

Survivors include four daughters, Hazel Milmot [sic], Jessie Marty, Marie Pangborn and Lenore Carey; sisters, Lena Killingstad, Caldonia, Minn.; Cora Isaackson, Worthington, Minn.; Ida Fiske, Modesto, Cal.; Gina Reusch, Medford, Wis.; Manda Naley, St. Paul, Minn.; Francis Fungseth, St. Paul, Minn.; Ruth Smerud, San Francisco; Pearl Johnson, Washington, D. C.; brother, Tim Johnson, San Bernardino, Cal.
