He was currently working at Diskey Well Drilling. He attended Holiness House of Prayer Church. He liked well drilling, working on cars, fishing and farming. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Kenneth L. (Shelley) Diskey, Tracey (Jackie McBroom) Diskey and Jeff Hayes, all of Marion; a daughter, Darla Diskey, Marion; brothers, Ed (Vivian) Diskey Jr., John (Peggy) Diskey, Arthur (Teresa) Diskey, David (Pat) Diskey, all of Marion, Charlie Diskey and Clifford Diskey, both of Bloomington; a sister, Pat (Mike) Bowman, Marion; twelve grandchildren; and good friend, Bob King, Sweetser.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Mary Margaret Diskey and Anna Louise Adamson; and a great-grandchild, Alena Faith McQueen.
