Marvis Irene Fletcher, 86, of Waverly, MO, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Waverly Assembly of God Church with Rev. Roger Nichols and Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will follow in Waverly Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospita.

Born July 13, 1931 in White Lake, WI, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Kindle and Sarah Mitchell Kindle. On September 11, 1948, she married Harlen D. Fletcher Sr. who preceded her in death on May 23, 1989. Marvis lived in the Waverly and Grand Pass areas most of her life. In addition to raising her large family, she worked at Con-Agra in Marshall and retired from there after more than 25 years of service. She was a long time member of the Assembly of God Church in Waverly.

Survivors include ten children: Ellen Inman of Waverly, Bonnie Chamberlain of Waverly, Harlen Fletcher Jr. of Marshall, Debbie White and husband Kenny of Higginsville, Margie Fizer and husband Wayne of Marshall, Harold Fletcher of Marshall, Sheryl Mueller and husband John of Waverly, Gary Fletcher and wife Angie of Blackburn, Jimmy Fletcher of Waverly, and Becky Edde and husband Burr of Malta Bend; two special "children" raised in her home, Alice Campbell and husband James of Marshall, and James Schull of Marshall; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin Kindle of White Lake, WI, Doug Kindle of Illinois, and James Kindle of California; three sisters, Nova Ellis of Wausau, WI, Sandy Raddatz of Kenosha, WI, and Wreatha Barber of Warsaw, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jackie and Mickey; three grandsons; two great granddaughters; four brothers; and two sisters.
