James Mason, age 76 of London, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.
He leaves behind two sons, Micah Mason of London, KY, Travis Mason and wife Jennifer of Frankfort, KY; three grandchildren, Micah Jeremy Mason and girlfriend Elizabeth Brooke Otis, Rebecca Mason, Ashley “Ash” Best; one great-grandchild, Legend Trace Best, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Doll Mason and three siblings, Ray Mason, Jeanette Roberts and Jewell Mason.
He was a cabinet maker, veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith. He will forever be remembered and greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services for James Mason will be conducted on Saturday, October 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also on Saturday at the funeral home.
