Marie Addison Priest Lee passed away April 24, 2005. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harvey Priest, her husband, Rev. Isom Lee; her eldest son, Walford Thomas Priest; her parents, Annistine Bradley and George Washington Addison; seven sisters and their spouses, Annie Lizzie and Manco Wilson, Minerva and Freddy Griffin, Myrtle and D.L. Hughes, Ruby and Hall Dingler, Jewel and Cohen Davis, Julie Grace Addison and George Frances Addison; and three brothers and their spouses, Wilburn and Mattie Addison, David and Irene Addison and Johnathon and Vernie Addsion. She is survived by three sons, Billy and Betty McClure Priest of Athens, Ala., Earl and Beverly Abernathy Lee of Acworth, Jimmy and Diane Worthy Lee of Felton; three daughters, Betty and J.D. McDurmon of Acworth; Shirley and Jan Powell, of Albertville and June Evans of Felton; daughter-in-law, Martha Davis Priest Brison of Lyerly; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were conducted at the Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Grant McDurmon, a great grandson, and Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Music was provided by Westside Church Choir and the McBrayer Family. Her grandchildren served as active and honorary pallbearers. Interment followed in the Polk Memory Gardens.
