Early Life: Ralph was born June 3, 1933, in Hamilton, Ohio, to George and Martha Myra Johnson Allen. His family moved to Kentucky where he and his eight siblings grew up.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Ralph served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer, a home builder, and retired from his long-term career as an aircraft machinist for The Boeing Company. Ralph was married in 1951 to Loraine Newport. Their three children are: Patsy Ann, Gary Dean and Terry Lee. In 1958, Ralph's second marriage to Freda "Fern" Harrison Dever Allen added five more children to his family: Dolly, Danny, Arlene, Darlene and George. Ralph was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he met Fern and was baptized a member twelve years later. He served in many church callings including bishop of the Hawthorn California Ward, seven years as a branch president in the MTC, and as a temple worker until 2008. Two years after his eternal companion, Fern, passed away, Ralph married Patricia Howell-Allen in 2006.
Survived By: His wife, Patricia Howell-Allen; his children: Dolly (Larry) Ostler, Danny (Leah) Dever, Arlene Murray, Darlene (Martin) Houck, George (Toni) Dever, and Patsy Orellana; 26 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren; and his brother, Wayne.
Preceded In Death By: His wife, Fern; sons: Gary Dean and Terry Lee Allen; his parents; twin sisters: Lois and Joyce Anita; sisters: Ferby and June; twin brothers: Billy and Johnny Carl.
