Glen E. Bone, 85, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. He was born in Falfurrias, Texas on July 17, 1932 to the late Rufus Noah and Bessie Bone.

Glen was raised in South Texas where his family followed the oilfield and he later graduated from Falfurrias High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1954.

He married Jo Ann Pesek in April 1956. Together they raised their four children, Steven, David, Robert, and Joan. He worked over 30 years for DuPont as an operator and retired in 1998. Glen enjoyed working with anything mechanical "The fix-it man", visiting with people, and supporting our military troops. Glen attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, was a member of the St. Mary's Altar Society and a life member of the VFW.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Bone.

The family will gather for a visitation on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Steven Vacek presiding.

Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum with Full Military Honors presented under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, DAV, VFW, et al.
