Anne F. Lefko, age 99, of North Olmsted, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Amherst hospital after a sudden illness. Anne was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 3, 1910 and moved to Lorain in the 1920's. She was a graduate of Lorain High School. During the 1950's she moved with her family to Amherst. For many years Anne worked in the Credit Department of the Sears, Roebuck & Co. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Lorain. In the past, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and she was a homemaker who liked to cook.
She is survived by her extended family of cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Ave. Amherst. Lat Eucharistic Minister, Bruce Meadows, of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
