Ann K. (Sotak) Cibik, 84, formerly of Ice Pond Road, Gilpin Township, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, in the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.
Born March 27, 1922, in Ford City to the late John and Mary (Sversko) Sotak. Mrs Cibik was a member of the Christ The King Parish in Leechburg, and a member of the Rosary Society at the former St. Martha Roman Catholic Church in Leechburg, and former member of the Jednota in Ford City. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and working puzzles. Survivors include a son, William J. Cibik (Sandy), of Gilpin Township; a daughter, Mrs. Bud (Mary Ann) Wike, of New Kensington; a sister, Marie V. Sotak, of Ford City; three granddaughters; and five great-granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton S. Cibik, on May 6, 1989; a brother, John Sotak; and a sister, Margaret Dombroski. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at CLAWSON'S, Second at Main Street, Leechburg, where parting prayers of transfer will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ The King Parish, Leechburg, with her pastor, the Rev.
