Nadine Virginia Barton daughter of Edward Byron and Edith (Eversole) Adair was born March 20, 1940 in Piney, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on October 7, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 17 days.
Nadine was a very loving wife mother and grandmother to her family. She played the saxophone, piano and loved singing for the Lord. She dedicated the majority of her life serving others.
She graduated from Dessert High School where she was a twirler and a majorette in the band. She was a secretary at Edwards Air Force Base, a surgery tech for Dr. Green and Dr. Cook which she thoroughly enjoyed, owned and operated Nadine's retail dress store, worked at Bank of Commerce for many years all before returning to NSU to receive her Masters in Education where she was reading specialist and taught for Christie, Sallisaw and finishing out at Briggs before retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; Aaron Barton.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children, Cindy Guthrie and husband Jim of Westville, Ok, Tim Barton and wife Gina of Stilwell, Ok, Steven Barton and wife Stephanie of Muskogee, Ok, 10 grandchildren, Amie Guffey, Amanda Guffey, Julie Guffey, Jami Guthrie-Springwater and husband Dillin, Bret Barton and wife Rebecca, Jacob Barton and wife MaKenley, Matthew Barton, Ethan Barton, Evan Barton, Caroline Barton, great-grandchildren, Fulton Rutland, Katie Doyle, Izzabella Carter, Grayson Crisp, Jordan Wiggins, Jonathan McLeroy, Hunter McLeroy, Addison Guffey, Maddison Guffey, Ashlyn Berry, Kelsey Berry, Emiliee Woodward and one great granddaughter on the way..
