Ruth Cuca Armendariz Mosqueda
June 29, 1925 - September 30, 2017.

Our Mom was born in June 29, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA. She entered eternal rest on September 30, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She lived most of her life in Shafter, CA, first in the Old Minter Field Barracks off of Lerdo Highway with her husband "Big John" Armendariz who worked at Ranchers Cotton Oil.
She leaves behind John Jr. and Lomi Armendariz of Imperial Beach, CA, Mary L. Ramirez of Fresno, CA., whom was caring/living with, Sally and Jacinto Gonzalez of Porterville, CA., Gloria and Harry Ybarra, David and Becky Armendariz, Esther K. Armendariz and Aurelia Chavez, all of Shafter. Also, many nephews and nieces. All her Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband John A. Armendariz of 35 years and Rafael Mosqueda, 30 years, Grandsons Matthew Gonzalez, Michael Ybarra and son Bobby Armendariz.
Ruth worked for Jackson and Perkins for 25 years as a Supervisor. Always dressed and prettied up with her famous scarves and pink lipstick. She was a Classy Boss.
Mom enjoyed camping, family get-togethers, music and dancing. She could cook everything under the sun. She also worked at North Labor as a Dietary Aide where she'd sit with all the kids for lunch at their tiny chairs.
She was strict, taught all the kids including each of us to say please, thank you, you're welcome. Also, to respect our teachers, doctors and Law Enforcement. Mom loved the L.A. Dodgers and knew her "stats" which always surprised people. A member of Saint John's Cathedral in Fresno, CA. When she lived in Shafter she was a devout Catholic and prayed the Rosary many times a day.
