Reuben Franklin May was the first child of LJ and Emily Cato May. He was labeled as an imbecile in the 1850 census. He lived with various relatives, the last one we know about is his brother James Edward May around 1913. I have not found where he is buried or when he died. Its is thought that he is buried with his parents in the Cato Cemetery near Warthen, GA. We cannot find this cemetery.
