Elzie is survived by her husband, Jennings Shaw; daughter Gail (Stephens) Fenton and husband Mike Fenton of Bryan, Texas; daughter Janice (Stephens) Moseley and husband Jim Moseley of Bryan, Texas; grandson Mark Moseley and wife Leslie Moseley of Tomball, Texas; great granddaughters Morgan Moseley and Reagan Moseley of Tomball, Texas; granddaughter Stephanie (Stephens) Myer of Little Rock, Arkansas; granddaughter Shelly (Stephens) Clark and husband John of Little Rock, Arkansas; great granddaughter Brenna Clark and great grandson Preston Clark of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Maxine Lindsey of Magnolia, Arkansas; 8 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary T. Stephens of Village, Arkansas; 2 brothers, Lewis T. Wilson, Tyler, Texas and Francis Wilson, Tyler, Texas; 4 sisters – Estelle Wright of Tyler, Texas, Evelyn Harris of Marshall, Texas, Lena Delaney and Ruth Wilson, both of Magnolia, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at the visitation from 6-8 pm Thursday, October 5th at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday, October 6th at Lewis Chapel with Pastor David Moore officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
Pallbearers will be Mark Moseley, John Clark, Mike Fenton, Gary Lindsey, Jeffrey Hicks, Lindsey Hicks, Frankie Shaw, and Keith Shaw.
