Funeral for Mattie McKinney Blackburn, a Southwest Portland homemaker, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Blackburn, who was 97, died Tuesday in a Portland care center.
Born in Stringtown, Indiana Territory (now Oklahoma), Mrs. Blackburn moved to Portland in 1944. She was a 70-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past matron of its Stringtown Chapter. She was also a member of Rose City Camelia Chapter No. 14 in Portland.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Fullman of Portland and Margaret Merritt of Aloha; a brother, Bettis Garside of New York, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
