Margaret E. Reamsnyder, 93, of Findlay, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Birchaven Village, Findlay. She was born on December 5, 1923, in New Cleveland, OH to the late Louis H. and Minnie (Mershman) Borgelt. She married Ross A. Reamsnyder in North Baltimore on July 4, 1948, and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2000. Margaret is survived by her sons: Richard A. Reamsnyder of Carey, Dennis L. (Anne) Reamsnyder of Westerville and Thomas L. (Roxanne) Reamsnyder of Rawson; her sister, Betty Lord of Strongsville; her grandchildren: Lee, Joseph and Jacob Reamsnyder, Mary (Reamsnyder) Prystowsky; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda L. Reamsnyder; and her brother, William Borgelt. Margaret was a graduate and Valedictorian of the McComb High School class of 1942. In 1945, she graduated from the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing, and from then until 1948, she worked as a supervisor in the operating room at Blanchard Valley Hospital. After raising her family she went back to work at Blanchard Valley Hospital as a floor nurse from 1965-1966. Then in 1966, Margaret accepted the Nursing position at Findlay High School, until her retirement in 1997. Margaret was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, where she had been the treasurer of the Women's Guild for a year and then the Vice President for 2 years. She formerly had volunteered at Blanchard Valley Hospital and the American Red Cross. Margaret very much appreciated the services of Dr. Beekman, Dr. Deerhake and Dr. Logan for their contributions in helping maintain her quality of life. The family very much appreciates the support of the Immanuel Lutheran Church congregation as well as Karen Bishop and staff at Birchaven. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, with Pastor Robert Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
