Wayne Albert Benson, 50, Ralls Avenue, died Wednesday 8:30 p.m. from injuries sustained in an accident. Survivors: wife, Dorothy Benson; son, Stephen Benson; daughters, Jeanette and Karen Benson; granddaughter, Amy Benson; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Karen Benson; sister, Mrs. Ruth Marshall, Missouri; brothers, Paul Benson, Colorado; Fredrick Benson, Illinois; Harold Benson, Iowa; and mother, Mrs. Mable Benson, Iowa. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and burial in Crestwood Cemetery. He was a native of Albia, Iowa and a resident of Etowah County, Alabama since 1967. He was a member of the Lutheran church and employed by Vanguard Industries.
