Old Uncle Jim Warsar Akin died Friday night Nov 6. He was making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Beauchamp near Brush. His wife preceded him in death a little over a year ago. Burial was in Mt. Salem Cemetery in Hart Co. Sat. afternoon. He leaves no children.
In 1850 James W. Akin was at Flat Rock, Bartholomew, Ind, He was 29 and his wife, Martha Ann was 25, both said they were born in Kentucky. The children were:
David S. Akin, 6 (in 1860 his name was given as D. J. Akin)
Milton A. Akin, 4, both children were born in Indiana
In 1860 James W. Akin was a daylaborer, living in Marion County, Indiana, He was 39 years of age, His wife Martha A. was age 37. The children were:
D. J. Akin, 17
Milton Akin, 13
J. A. Akin, 4
