On November 1, 1906 Trientje Dijk, daughter of farmers Jan Dijk and Fijlina van Dijken, living in Manhattan, Gallatin County, Montana married in Ten Boer at the age of 24 years the two years older commissionair (= commission agent) Jan Heidema, born in Thesinge too, son of late Pieter Heidema and Tjaakje van Bruggen.
On September 9, 1907 they had in Thesinge daughter Tjaakje Fijlina Heideman. She died on December 31, 1936 in Thesinge.
In April, 1914 Trientje Dijk died at the age of 31 years in her birth and residence village Thesinge, province Groningen, Netherlands.
Her father Jan Dijk was then still a farmer in Manhattan, Gallatin County, Montana, USA.
