Peter Daly, a former resident of this county and well-known to many Sancho people, having resided near the Ash church, was found frozen to death near Bird a few days ago. It is supposed he was under the influence of liquor and could travel no farther. People living near heard cries in that night, but it being an every night occurrence gave them no credence, thinking it was only some one intoxicated. The body was taken away and buried with out an inquest.
