PARKER, Romie Mae (Mrs. George C.), 86, a resident of 309 Cheaha Ct., and a resident of Montgomery for 30 years, died Sunday a [sic] in a local hospital after a [sic] extended lllness [sic]. She was a charter member of St. James United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday from Leak-Memory Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Bradley and Rev. Athal Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery with Leak-Memory Chapel directing. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Fred B. Waldo, Sr., Natchez, Miss.; two grandchildren, Fred B. Waldo, Jr., Montgomery, Mrs. Herbert B. Kelley, Tuscaloosa; six grandchildren [sic]. Active pallbearers will be S.E. Jordan, Herbert B. Kelly, M.J. Cleveland, Cecil Barnes, Jr. Ph, [sic] Phillip B. Teauge, H. Phillip Panhorst, David A. Houston, Same [sic] W. Taylor.
