SARA DAWN deCLERCQ JANKOWSKI; born July 20, 1980, died tragically February 14, 2007 after a lengthy battle with depression and prescription drug abuse. She was our baby girl, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece, friend, co-worker, wife, daughter-in-law and mother of Killer (her rotten Chihuahua). She had a heart of gold and always rooted for the underdog; yet couldn't root for herself and finally succumbed to her demons and died at her own hands. She was a Christian and believed and accepted fully that Jesus had died for her. We know that she is being cradled in His arms as we write these words. Her parents are Larrie and Carol deClercq, her brother, Matthew deClercq, her Grandma, Nana and Papa and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to name. The love of her life was John Jankowski who suffered greatly along with his parents Glenn and Lee Barron and Granny. She will be terribly missed by us all; but we can rest assured that she has found that freedom, happiness and peace in God's loving arms.
