Miss Bishoff was born July 20, 1933 in Brandenburg Station, Meade County, Kentucky, the only child of Edward Elmore Bishoff and Rose Elle Chinn Bishoff. She was a devoted daughter and caregiver to her parents.
She was considered a Grandma to ALL kids. She was a graduate of Meade County High School; she retired as a traveling CNA for the Lincoln Trail District Health Department after 22 years of service; worked at Anchor House for several years, where she formed the A Team singing group; was a Kentucky Colonel; and a member of New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she served in many different capacities.
Miss Bishoff is survived by her uncle, Jonathan Bishoff of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and several cousins. Glodene was a second mother to Rose Druck, Scott Druck, Jordan "Bubby" Wonderly, Gaye Jean Chapman and Gabrey "Sis" Travis. She is also survived by her special friend and traveling companion, Mary Ellen Trent.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Melton, Rev. terry Carby and Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial will follow in New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church Cemetery.
