Jerry Lee Selsor, age 74, of Neosho, MO. went to our Great Healer on March 8, 2011, following a long illness. Jerry was born November 15, 1936 in Oronogo, MO. the youngest son of Gerald and Alma Bell Selsor. He served in the United States Marine corps and was a veteran of Korean War. he was a supervisor at the Missouri Steel Castings. He retired from there in 1990. From 1990-2001 he and his wife Jo Ellen owned and operated Black Velvet Limousine and Executive Charter Service. He also worked from 2002-2008 in sales for Hyla, which paved the way for he and his wife Jo Ellen to take many exotic vacations.
He married his first wife Pauline Henley in 1956. They were married for 21 years and had 2 daughters; Cindy Embrey and husband Mark of Neosho, MO. and Nancy Vowell of Edmond, OK. In 1977 he married his friend Louise Nutz and they were only married a short time before finding out they were better off friends.
On June 6, 1981 he married Jo Ellen Cole and have been together for 29 years in their home outside of Neosho, MO. Together they had 2 children; Jessica Selsor of Oronogo, MO. and Justin Selsor of Fayetteville, AR. Also surviving Jerry are 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. : brother Charles Selsor of Joplin, MO. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Betty Byrum, Pauline Trapp, Mable Kutz and 1 brother Charles Selsor and 1 great grand daughter Gabby Layne Wilson.

It was Terry wish to be cremated. Memorial service was held at First Baptist Church of Orango, MO. with pastor Darin Youngbird officiating. Cremation under the care of Mason Woodard Mortuary and Crematory of Joplin, MO.
