Lulia Mae Cantrell Calloway, daughter of the late Jessie Caley Cantrell and Sarah Elizabeth Jones Cantrell, was born January 21, 1932 Wiseman, Arkansas. She departed this life September 27, 2017 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Grayson Marshall Calloway September 14, 1952 and together they raised two sons. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Church of Christ faith and a member of Clarkridge Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Grayson Calloway of the home; two sons and two daughters-in-law: Patrick and Betty Calloway of Norfork and Joey and Sylvia Calloway of Charleston, South Carolina; two sisters: Hildred Gerard of Gassville and Mildred Crawford of Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Larry Calloway of Gassville and Eric Calloway of Henderson; three great grandchildren: Sheryl Calloway of Marietta, Georgia, Shelley Calloway and Brandy Whitney both of Charleston, South Carolina; four great great grandchildren: Jaden Callahan, Aspen Vandewaye, Destiny Lunsford and Ashton Driggers; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Dervie Cantrell and Jerry Cantrell and one sister: Lelia Byrd.
Visitation and funeral service will be Saturday, September 30 at Clarkridge Church of Christ with Clayton officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Arkana Cemetery
