She was a former resident of Delphi until moving to Florida in 1957. She was born June 18, 1894, to Harvey and Mary Switzer Artist. Her marriage was to Leon H. Kasten on October 21, 1915, and he preceded in death in 1976.
Mrs. Kasten worked at the Sportsman Hotel at Monticello for several years.
Surviving is one son, Harold R. Kasten, North Fort Myers, Florida. Also surviving are two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. One daughter and four brothers preceded in death.
Services were held Tuesday at Horn Funeral Home and burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
