Son of Remembrance Lippincott & Mary Barbour. His father was a Society of Friends Minister, a farmer and large land owner in region of Pumpking Island, NJ., as described in his will.
William's grandfather was Richard Lippincott, whom emigrated about 1663, to Rhode Island and later in 1655, to the First English Colony of N.J. Both have wonderful Bios linked.
