AGNES J. BLUBAUGH
Agnes J. Blubaugh, 86, of Chariton, formerly of Melrose, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, in Ottumwa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose, Rev. Scott Lemaster and Rev. Allan Stetz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.
She was born Nov. 8, 1912, in Weller, to William and Katherine Heyland Cratty. She married Fred Blubaugh Oct. 22, 1935. He died June 29, 1990.
She is survived by four sons, Leo Blubaugh of Chariton, Bernard Blubaugh of Colfax, Robert Blubaugh of Indianola and James Blubaugh of Davenport; one daughter, Sharon Blubaugh of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathryn Judge of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Earl, John, Bernard and Pat Cratty; and five sisters, Mary, Ilene and three sisters in infancy.
