Norma Knox, 85, of Columbia, TN passed away on September 27, 2017 at Signature Health Care.
Norma was born on July 19, 1932 in Memphis, TN to the late John Evans and Ollie M. Davis. Norma was a beautiful, selfless, Christian woman; always taking care of others before herself. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed.
Norma leaves behind her sons: Al Parsons, Johnny Parsons, Ronnie Parsons, Floyd Craig, Tommy Craig, Jerry Craig and Jimmy Craig and daughter: Lorrie (Clarence) Edgmon. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John Evans and Ollie Davis, her husband, Lyle Reese Knox and her sons, Floyd Craig, Al Parsons and Ronnie Parsons.
Pallbearers are Josh Craig, Daniel Craig, Tommy Craig, Jerry Craig, Jimmy Craig and Toby Parsons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Knox will be held in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Buffaloe officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
