CHARLES CITY - Services for Hazel Pearl Burgess, 93, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hage Funeral Home, Charles City; burial in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City; she died of natural causes Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1988) at the Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City.
Survivors include a daughter, Velrna Hudson of Redwood, Calif.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Cardlin of Phoenix, Ariz., who was reared by Mrs. Burgess; and Bessie Cox of Stanton Island, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, in 1956; a daughter; a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Charles City, or the Salsbury Baptist Home.
