VAN WERT, Ohio – Arthur R. Fiock of Van Wert, Ohio died at 9:19 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
He was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Van Wert County to Earl R. and Mary (Stemen) Fiock who preceded him in death.
He married Constance "Connie" (Clifton) Fiock who survives of Van Wert, Ohio.
Arthur is also survived by his children Christopher (Cari) Fiock of Waterville, Ohio and April (Jason) Gray of Convoy, Ohio; and grandchildren Kayla Born, Grant Fiock, Sydney Hofmann, Skylar Fiock, Dru Gray, Trey Fiock, and Paylin Gray.
Arthur retired from Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert, Ohio after 25 years of service and was also a life long farmer. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gearhart-Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, Ohio.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Gearhart-Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, Ohio with Rev. Clark Williman officiating and burial to follow at Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Convoy, Ohio.
There will also be one hour of visitation before funeral services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
Preferred memorials are to Wings of Joy Crestview Bible Center.
