Marie Ann Griffin-Zimmerman, age 89, of Midland, Michigan, went to be with the Lord Sunday night July 17, 2022 at Brookdale Senior Living in Midland. She was born October 4 ,1932 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Paul and Ann (Tobolik) Kmet and was a 1950 graduate of Steinmetz High School in Chicago. In 1950 she married the late Jack Jerome Griffin in Chicago. She later married the late Robert Lane Zimmerman of Midland in 1981. Marie was a housewife and beginning in 1964 a licensed realtor, followed by attending Delta College in Saginaw. She was raised Catholic and attended St. Brigid's in Midland. Marie's passions were their cottage on Lake Michigan, gardening, cooking, traveling, fashion, singing, parades, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouses she is also pre-deceased by her daughter and son-in-law Dale Griffin- (Klint) Safford (2020/ 2003); and step-daughters: Darcey Zimmerman- (Richard) James (2015) and Betsy Zimmerman (2021).
