Alberta DeVinney-Hults

Alberta DeVinney-Hilts, 75, of Nunda died Thursday (Dec. 8, 1988) in her home.

Born Nov. 23, 1913, in Mt. Morris, a daughter of John George and Grace Kellogg, she was a lifelong resident of the Nunda-Mt. Morris area. She was a retired registered nurse from the county infirmary in Geneseo. She was a member of the Nunda Methodist Church, was its financial secretary for 32 years and a member of the Loyalist Club. She was a member of the Nunda Chamber of Commerce, the 55-and-Over Club and the Rochester Fanjesters.

Survivors are her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Nancy Gevauer of Castile and Patricia Corl of Rochester; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted Saturday afternoon in the Mann Funeral Home of Nunda with the Rev. Paul Cauvel officiating. Burial was in Mt. Morris Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Nunda Methodist Church or the Nunda Ambulance Corps.
