"Alice Ann Etheridge Synnott, 78, passed away on September 24, 2017 at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland in Ridgeland, MS. She was a retired bookkeeper for B-Quick Food Stores, owner of Synnott's Barber and Beauty Shop, and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin Etheridge and Ruby Mae Moreland Etheridge; husband, Bobby Clifton Synnott; sisters, Billie Frances Shaw and Reba Jean Roberts; and brothers, Haven Etheridge and James Ray Etheridge.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorena Synnott "Cricket" Wharton (Brian) of Florence, MS; sister, Jimmie C. Vowell of Tyler, TX; grandsons, Daniel Wharton and Isaac Wharton, both of Florence, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Walker will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery."
