Services for Mrs. Harriet Oden Young, 76, mother-in-law of Senator La Follette, of Wisconsin, will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at Beallsville, Md., where she will be buried.
Mrs. Young, who died Friday at her home, 1869 Wyoming avenue northwest, was born in Aldie, Loudoun County, Va., daughter of Maj. James Skinner Oden, C.S.A., and Julia Hood Oden. Her husband, Ludwig Craven Young, who died in 1930, was an employe of the Census Bureau. Mrs. Young long was interested in the woman's suffrage movement.
She is survived by a son, Arthur Young, of Elmwood, Ill. And six daughters, Mrs. La Follette, of Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Merrill Rogers, of New York City; Mrs. C.L. Stokes, of Santa Monica, Calif., and Misses Louise, Mary and Matilda Young, of Washington.
