He received his education from Payson, Illinois elementary and high schools.

Other memberships included the Farm Bureau and the South Side Boat Club in Quincy Illinois.

Mr. Loos co-operated Loos Brothers along with his brother, Frederick Loos. It was a grain bin and seed corn business. Wilferd John Loos also worked as a farmer.

Wilferd John Loos passed away aged 38 at his Payson, Illinois residence. His widow, his brother and other family survived to mourn his loss.

Reverend Ivan Horn and Reverend Richard Schorey presided at funeral services, held at Congregational Church in Payson Illinois, with interment at Payson New cemetery, in Payson Illinois.
