Darlene had worked for DuPont in Delaware for forty-three plus years, retiring as a print specialist. She enjoyed working at the Roman Pantry as a part time job after her retirement from Dupont. Along with her husband Jack, they were well known Arabian Horses enthusiasts. She had also been the Treasurer for the Eastern Amateur Arabian Horse Show Circuit.
Her husband Jack, whom she was married to for thirty years; son, David Brown and his wife Diane; three grandchildren, Rachel, Lance and Sean; a great grandchild, Sammy and her three dear friends, Pat, Maggie and Jayne survive her. She was predeceased by her mother Laura Evans.
Services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Adams Funeral Home, 18 E. Maple Ave., Penns Grove, NJ 08069. The viewing will begin at 9 AM with the service following at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Lawnside Cemetery.
