Survivors include her husband, Melvin Allen, daughter, Barbara Patterson, Newberry, Fl, son, Wayne Allen, Gainesville, step children, Martha Sue Whiter and Roy Lee Allen both of GA, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, September 9, 2010, 2:00 p.m., at Gainesville Baptist Church. Pastor Brad Noble officiated. Visitation was held one hour prior to services at the church.
