Lillian Victoria Nelson was born October 5, 1921 in Deer Creek to Anton and Ida (Landmack) Nelson. After graduating from Deer Creek High School, she went to St. Pau.
Lillian married Henry Scheuring on October 25, 1941. They had two daughters, JoAnn and Donna. In 1958 they moved to La Jolla, California. After 25 years in California, they moved back to Alexandria to retire. Henry died in 1994.
Lillian loved to travel and enjoyed rosemaling.
In 2005, she married Vincent Anderson. They spent time between their lake home on Pelican Lake and their home in Alexandria.
On October 21, 2014 Lillan died at the age of 93.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna, of Kolonia, Pohnpei; son-in-law, Charles Stem of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Jody of San Diego; brother, Charles Nelson of Eagan; cousins, nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn; parents; brothers, Clifford and Anton Jr.; and sisters, Luella and Lynn Mae.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria. The Rev. Kari Van Wakaren will officiate. Music will be provided by Randy Morken. The urn bearer is Diane Ziebell. Interment will be at Inman Cemetery at Henning.
