(1896-1990)

Jennie E. Bevins, 93, of Springfield, died Friday, May 4, 1990, in a Springfield hospital.

Born Aug. 2, 1896 in Beechburg, Ky., she was the daughter of Charles and Zella Rolph Turner.

A housewife and farmer, she attended the Church of God in Vanceburg, Ky., and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Rolph, in 1919, and her second husband, Rush Bevins, in 1934.

Surviving are two sons, Roscoe Bevins of Vanceburg and the Rev. Joseph Rolph of Springfield; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Rolph, Mrs. Gracie Mae Bloomfield, Mrs. Evelyn Wilson and Mrs. Pete (Juanita) Seitz, all of Springfield; a brother, Walter Turner of Georgetown; a sister, Flora Reed of West Union; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg.
